Haven Spa

Thanksgiving is almost here! Which means that the Christmas season is right around the corner (if it hasn’t already started)!

To squeeze every last drop out of fall, and to make sure I look my best for my first married Thanksgiving, I scheduled a pumpkin-spice pedicure and a holiday nail-art manicure at Haven Spa in Noho.

When I typically get my nails done, I go to a no-fuss salon where you’re in and out as quickly as possible. It gets the job done, but it’s hardly a luxurious afternoon.

Getting a mani pedi at a spa, however, is an entirely different experience. At Haven Spa, guests sit on cushy couches with pillows behind them while they’re having their treatments.

I wanted a darker color on my toes, so I chose Zoya’s “Genevieve.”

Then Fahmida got to work!

The products that she used are what make this pedicure pumpkin spice and everything nice. She began with a fragrant pumpkin scrub that created a delicious pumpkin aroma in the room. Then she employed a soft, cool pumpkin butter that smelled just like pumpkin and cream-cheese frosting. She used this to massage my calves and feet in the most in-depth massage I’d ever experienced during a pedicure!

And the best part?

During my pedicure I was given apple-cinnamon cider to sip on, with an optional shot of rum!

After my pedicure was finished, Fahmida gave me the nail files she used. Since the spa never re-uses them, they figure you may as well keep the files, which I appreciate.

Ta-da! The finished look:

After my pedicure, Eliana took over, showing me pictures of her nail art creations to give me ideas. She’s incredibly good at drawing Tim Burton’s Halloween characters, which made me wish I’d come in earlier!

But since it’s almost Thanksgiving, and Christmas parties are beginning immediately after, I chose a navy design that will work for both holidays… with a little sparkle, of course!

I love how they turned out! Sometimes nail art can feel juvenile, but this design is elegant while still feeling special.

I like how, in the light, it’s clear my nails have a unique design. But in darker lighting my nails just glimmer, which is fun too (and perfect for those upcoming holiday parties I mentioned)!

Haven Spa offers nail art year round.

The pumpkin spice pedicure is obviously only offered for a limited time, so hurry up and book your appointment! It’s the best way to treat yourself this holiday season.
