I don’t believe in wedding diets (or diets in general), but I still want to feel my best on the day I walk down the aisle. So I’ve been making healthy protein smoothies every morning. I’ve been mixing up the flavors and vegetables, but lately this one in particular has been my go-to recipe. It’s not beautiful, and it won’t get you a lot of likes on Instagram, but it is delicious and so, so good for you.
To make my Avocado and Banana Protein Smoothie, you’ll need:
2 cups coconut water
1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
12 ice cubes
If you haven’t already surmised, this recipe will be an easy one. Add everything to your blender… and blend. Yes, that’s it.
When you’re done you’ll get two servings of a creamy smoothie that will give you the energy and nutrients you need to start your day.
And there’s nothing more beautiful than that.
