On the last day of Jenny and Amber’s visit, we headed to The Ribbon on the Upper West Side for brunch. After all, there’s nothing more quintessentially New York City than Sunday brunch!
When dining at The Ribbon, you’re never really at risk of forgetting what restaurant you’re in!
Amber had the Corned Beef Hash with poached eggs and hollandaise.
Jenny selected the Hot Chicken & Cheddar Chive Pancake accompanied by maple syrup.
I dined on the Chilaquiles Roja served with tortilla chips, avocado, and a fried egg.
And we all shared the Cheese Spaetzle which was much better in theory than in actuality.
In general the food at The Ribbon is decent, but nothing that we ordered especially impressed us. It’s not worth making an effort to eat there, in my opinion.
But the check was presented in a really cute way (inside a book!), so at least there’s that.
After brunch we wandered into Central Park park and spent the rest of the afternoon exploring.
It was so much fun having my “sisters” visit me in NYC! I miss you ladies already!
