After drinking our bodyweight in tropical drinks, Jenny, Jason, Greg and I ventured into the daylight and over to Benny’s Chop House for dinner.
I tried to get them to take natural, laughing pictures. They made fun of me and the resulting photos were hilarious and anything but natural!
We met up with Ryan and Amber who were productive humans that day and not drinking in a basement tiki hut all afternoon.
It was so much fun having the gang all together (well almost all together… we missed you Caitlin and James)!
We ordered more drinks so Ryan and Amber could catch up.
And ordered a bunch of food to try too.
We started with Lobster Ravioli.
And an Iceberg Wedge served with bacon, tomatoes and black river blue cheese.
We also had the Lobster Bisque and it was terrible. We all tried it and found it so disgusting that something must have been off with it, especially since everything else we ate was so good. We let the waitress know and she passed on our comments to the chef and took the soup off of our bill, so she resolved the issue appropriately.
Luckily we still had plenty more food on the way!
Since we were at a chop house we had to order steak, and it arrived perfectly cooked and seasoned.
We had Macaroni & Cheese as a side dish (no surprise there)!
As well as an order of Truffle Fries topped with herbs, truffle oil and parmigiano.
I do recommend Benny’s Chop House. As I said earlier everything else we ordered was delicious and we really enjoyed our meal… and of course spending time together!
