The first time Greg and I went to La Sirena in Chelsea we liked it so much we knew we had to bring my mom there when she visited. We also knew we had to impress my mom with amazing food selections, so we took one for the team and ordered a bunch of menu items to sample. Aren’t we so nice?!
I just love the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s so beautiful!
And aren’t we beautiful too?! Ha!
At La Sirena, you can either sit in the ristorante or in the bar room. The bar room has delicious tapas and a really cool vibe so I actually recommend it over the ristorante. Plus it’s a little more laidback and fun for a night out.
Due to our tasting I now consider myself a La Sirena expert! So here’s what to order when you go:
Pan Con Tomate which is tomato-rubbed bread topped with golden garlic, olio verde olive oil and Spanish sea salt.
Spanish Meat & Cheese Board with house pickles, olives, filone bread and seasonal fruit spread.
Mini Morcilla Hot Dogs topped with blood sausage bolognese, spicy mustard and brussels sprout kraut.
Pig And Fig which is crispy pork belly served with garlic sausage, fig, bacon mostaza, smoked yogurt and Sirena granola.
Tortilla Italiana which is potato lasagne with cacio e pepe, chicken chicharrón and a quail egg.
And Sea Scallops with plum, rhubarb, white cranberry espuma and candied grapefruit.
Cheers to a fabulous dinner!
And a fabulous visit from my mom!
