Burger & Lobster

For our Valentine’s Day celebration, Greg took me to the place where we had our first date, Burger & Lobster, in Midtown.

While the original Burger & Lobster in London literally had just a burger and a lobster on its menu, this NYC branch has a few more items to choose from. But it still remains true to its focus of serving fabulous burgers and fabulous lobster.

Because it’s impossible to choose between a burger and lobster, I strongly recommend you order the Combo for 1. It comes with a cheeseburger topped with bacon, a whole lobster, fries, a salad and a drink. It’s pretty much the adult version of a Happy Meal!

Don’t you just love how the lobster looks like a heart?! How fitting for our Valentine’s Day celebration!

You can choose which butter you want served with your meal. I always pick the normal melted butter, because I feel like anything stronger drowns out the taste of the lobster.

But the garlic butter is perfect for dipping your fries into, so I recommend getting one of each!

It was fun reminiscing about our first date, and how much things have changed since then. For instance, now we skip the polite small talk and are perfectly comfortable grabbing food off of each other’s plates!

You can find out more information on Burger & Lobster here.

Unlike on our first date, this time after eating at Burger & Lobster we didn’t go to a nude drawing class (to be clear: the model was nude, we were clothed)!

Instead Greg had a wonderful surprise for me. And you can find out what it was here!
