New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2018

For most people, February = Valentine’s Day. But for trendy New Yorkers, February is all about New York Fashion Week.

New York Fashion Week Fall / Winter 2018 - Top 3 trends - Wanderlust in the City

As is my tradition, I recap the top three trends so your wardrobe can be on point this upcoming fall/winter.

#1 Animal Print

Yes, animal print is back! Love it or hate it, you’ve never seen it quite like this before.

Michael Kors layered animal print over other prints.

Tom Ford created collages of different animal prints and colors.

And Badgley Mischka added a touch of class to the print.

#2 Asymmetrical Lines

These designers made mirror images look boring by creating these unique, asymmetrical silhouettes and necklines:

Jason Wu

Zimmermann

Carolina Herrera

#3 Rainbow Colors

Forget the muted tones that are standard for fall. These designers took color to a whole new level with these rainbow patterns:

Alice + Olivia

Tory Burch

Naeem Khan

Male Models

As you know, my NYFW guide always ends in the best possible way: with a little eye candy, just for fun!
