It’s that time of year again! Flowers are blooming, the air is getting warmer, and the Quadrille Spring Soirée is giving us one last opportunity to dress up before ball season ends and summer begins.
Since the Spring Soirée is technically black-tie optional, everyone goes a little brighter, and a little more casual.
As perfectly evidenced by Brian’s pocket square.
Once again the party was held at the Down Town Association, and began with cocktail hour.
It was so much fun seeing everyone, especially Mary Elizabeth (who you can’t even tell gave birth practically that morning)!
Thank you, Chris, for your cameo in our photo!
Then everyone headed upstairs for dinner and dancing.
This year the event didn’t have a professional photographer, so I was complaining to Greg that I wouldn’t have any pictures of us dancing. Then I got home and saw Mary Elizabeth had posted this picture:
Thank you Mary Elizabeth!
After the dancing gets underway, invariably we all end up sneaking off to explore the other rooms in the club that are supposedly “off limits.” It’s practically a Spring Soirée tradition!
It was a fabulous evening with the most fabulous people in New York City!
Can you think of a better way to welcome spring than by dancing on into it?

P.S. My dress is by Badgley Mischka.
