On a chilly Sunday, several of the Quadrille ladies and I braved the cold for brunch at The Daisy, an adorable Upper East Side restaurant that had all of us wondering how we’d walked by it so many times without noticing it.
I hadn’t seen some of these ladies since the ball, so we had a lot to catch up on!
The food at The Daisy is just as adorable as the restaurant.
Like this Avocado Toast, which has smoked avocado, queso fresco, pumpkin seeds, a poached egg and smoked salmon:
And this Gravlax Benedict which is a potato cake topped with smoked trout roe, egg and honey mustard béarnaise:
It’s what I had for brunch and I thought it was a delicious, unique take on the classic.
The other dishes weren’t quite as pretty, but the girls still enjoyed them.
Like this omelette:
The Egg Scramble served with American cheese, home fries and pork belly:
And Juan’s Fried Chicken Sandwich topped with Sriracha, gem lettuce and remoulade and served in a potato bun:
After our food (and a little bit of gossip) we ventured back into the cold with group vacation plans and The Daisy’s cute, keepsake postcards.
