The Quadrille squad (Squadrille?) celebrates anything and everything, so it’s no surprise that we got together on Tuesday for a Mardi Gras party. We headed to Loreley Beer Garden on the Lower East Side to make the most of evening before Ash(ley) Wednesday and Lent.
I had never celebrated Mardi Gras in New York City (last year I was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras) so I was excited to party with my favorite people!
Claire hosted the event and did a wonderful job!
When I walked in she was writing Mardi Gras on the chalk board…
…and I saw that someone had also written ASHLEY on the bricks! Turns out it wasn’t Claire (although that would have been a pretty amazing welcome!) or anyone else that we knew. It was some other Ashley who had been to the Beer Garden before us. I took it as a sign (literally) that the evening was going to be fabulous!
Everyone was decked out for the holiday.
And slowly added more festive accessories as the night went on.
The party got crazier as we went on too. We started at happy hour and went well into the night. I knew Mardi Gras in New York City would be fun!
Everyone was there.
Even my spirit animal (aka tipsy Ashley) made an appearance!
Thank you Claire for hosting such a fabulous Mardi Gras party!
We all had a blast!
