The Rolling Stones Exhibitionism

(Like most things in life this post is best with The Rolling Stones playing in background! Press play and then read away!)

From now until March 12, Rolling Stones fans can have total fangirl (or fan…guy?) moments at a West Village popup exhibit dedicated to the famous band. The Rolling Stones Exhibitionism features The Rolling Stones’ musical history from the band’s early days to its rise as a global phenomenon, as well as the fashion, design and art influenced by their musical style.

I put on my edgiest outfit and met up with Olivia and Meredith to explore the exhibit. I had to laugh when Olivia arrived dressed in head-to-toe Lilly Pulitzer. This is your edgy outfit Olivia?!

I wouldn’t call myself the band’s biggest fan, but hearing the evolution of their music reminded me of just how many of their songs that I love.

Then somewhere in the fashion exhibit Olivia found her style inspiration. I apologized for teasing her, since apparently she was dressed more like The Rolling Stones than I was!

Although I did find some leather, so maybe we’ll call it even?

Then the exhibit ended with a 3D clip from a concert that looked absolutely incredible! It made us all want to add “seeing The Rolling Stones in concert” to our bucket list!

Afterwards we immediately went home and downloaded a bunch of their songs. If this exhibit doesn’t turn you into a fan of The Rolling Stones then nothing will!

The Rolling Stones Exhibitionism is only open until March 12, so get your tickets now! You can buy them, and find out more information, here.

I know it’s only rock ‘n’ roll… but I like it.
