After drinks at my favorite speakeasy, Noel and I headed to dinner at Antique Garage in Soho. Antique Garage is a converted mechanic’s shop with a Mediterranean-influenced menu. The softly-lit restaurant is decorated with antiques (no surprise there) and often has live jazz music. It’s very eclectic to say the least, and we absolutely loved the vibe.
We met up with our friend Paola (who we also know from our Budapest trip!) so it was a fabulous NYC reunion.
I was happy to see her. Clearly Noel was too…
For dinner, I recommend the Grilled Meatballs. This dish has seasoned ground lamb served with whole grain rice, tzatziki and French fries, and is really very good.
We also liked the Mediterranean Pasta which has penne with artichokes, grape tomatoes and black olives in a roasted red vegetable sauce.
Antique Garage is now one of my favorite Soho restaurants. Its unique, eclectic vibe is really pretty special. To find out more information, or to make a reservation, click here.
So Noel and Paola… when’s our next Budapest reunion?
