Blackberry Ricotta Pizza


I love blackberries (they’re my favorite fruit) and I love cheese (it’s my favorite… food), so this Blackberry Ricotta Pizza recipe perfectly combines everything that I love into one dish. You may be a bit skeptical about how the flavors will mix, but trust me when I tell you that blackberries and cheese are a fabulous combination!

To make, you’ll need:

Pizza crust

Olive oil

2 cartons blackberries

1 carton ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Fresh basil


Begin by placing the pizza crust on parchment paper and coating it with a layer of olive oil.


Mash one carton of blackberries and spread the mixture over the pizza just like you would pizza sauce.


Then evenly cover with a layer of parmesan cheese and then a layer of mozzarella cheese.



Glob (technical term) the ricotta cheese onto the pizza, flattening it with your fingers or a spoon.


Now top with whole blackberries and bake at 450°F for 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden.


After you take the pizza out of the oven, immediately sprinkle it with fresh basil.


Your delicious Blackberry Ricotta Pizza is now ready to serve!
