It was such a beautiful day on Sunday, wasn’t it?! Kendall and I took full advantage of the weather by celebrating our first (hopefully weekly!) Sangria Sunday.
I made delicious Strawberry-Raspberry Rosé Sangria, which, because it’s rosé, is a lighter version of the traditional drink. Nothing says summer like rosé!
To make, you’ll need:
1 carton strawberries
1 carton raspberries
1 orange
1 lemon
1 bottle rosé
1/2 cup brandy
1/2 cup simple syrup
1.5 cups sparkling water
Begin by cutting the orange and lemon into thin slices, and the strawberries into cubes.
Layer the fruit into the glass pitcher that you will use to serve.
Then add the brandy, simple syrup, and rosé, and let sit in the fridge overnight.
The next day, when you’re ready to serve, add the sparkling water. Garnish the glasses with fruit to make them look pretty!
Because the day was so gorgeous, we decided to enjoy our sangria out on the fire escape (New York’s version of a balcony).
Should Sangria Sunday be every day?
Yes way rosé!

YES. Sangria Sunday should be all day, every day! All my favorite fruits are in this sangria. :D
That’s perfect! And the fruit makes it healthy, right?!
I’m going to make this soon. Yum.
Awesome! Let me know what you think!
