Last year’s GEORGE Winter Bash was my favorite party of the year, so you can imagine how excited I was for this year’s party to roll around! As you know, GEORGE is a charity that provides assistance to British and Commonwealth heritage people in NYC who are in need of financial and emotional support. So our fun evening was all for a good cause!

This year’s bash was held at Espace in Hell’s Kitchen. The attire was black tie optional, but for Anton and me there was no optional about it!

We made sure to get a good group picture, which wasn’t an easy feat!

The evening was hosted by The 2 Robbies: Robbie Earle and Robbie Mustoe, hosts of Premier League football on NBC.

And there was even a magician!

But the true guest of honor was five-time Olympic Gold Medalist Sir Steve Redgrave. He’s known as Britian’s greatest Olympian (and, if the bash is any indication, is one of Britian’s best dancers too)!

Just like last year, we played the traditional game of heads and tails. Everyone stands, and trivia questions are read with two possible answers: heads or tails. You put your hands on your head (or tail!) to guess. If you are right, you stay standing. If you’re wrong, you have to sit down.

Unlike last year, however, I made it really far! I didn’t quite win, but there’s always next year!

After the games and the speeches, it was time to enjoy our three-course dinner.
During dinner, guests can bid on silent auction items, or participate in the live auction.
Once again, our table “won” a fabulous prize!

It was a really fun dinner!
But the best part, as always, was the after-dinner dance party!

Wondering what I wore? My dress is by Nicole Miller, and my bracelet is by Slate & Willow.
You know I picked it out because it’s the same color blue as the Union Jack! I swear I’m a Brit at heart!

Once again, the British Bash was an incredible night.
