The weather is finally getting cooler, so I wanted to make my first Crock-Pot recipe of the fall season. This one only takes 5 minutes to prepare, is healthy, and most importantly, is delicious! If you hate cooking but love food, then this is the recipe for you!
To make my 5 Minute Healthy Chicken Chili, you’ll need:
1 can black beans
1 can kidney beans
1 cup tomato sauce
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 package frozen corn
Taco seasoning
Chili powder
1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
Shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh cilantro
First add the beans, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes to the crockpot.
Then add the frozen corn, and stir it all together.
Now add a packet of taco seasoning.
And a generous amount of chili seasoning.
Stir in the seasoning, and layer the chicken on the top.
You’re done! That’s all the prep that you need!
Now cook on high for 6 hours. 30 minutes before the cooking time ends, shred the chicken with the fork and mix it in.
It should look like this when you’re done.
Now add shredded cheese and cilantro and serve.
Here’s to many more ways to celebrate autumn.
