I recently went in search of New York’s best burger, and, still not completely satisfied that I had found it, decided to continue the quest when my parents were in town. One of you recommended BLT (thank you!), so we headed there one day for a late lunch.
BLT Bar & Grill is located in the Financial District, steps away from One World Trade Center. I absolutely love how the interior is decorated, especially all of the drawings on the walls.
Apparently not as enthusiastic about my “best burger in New York” quest, my parents ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich topped with apples, gouda, bacon and watercress.
They liked the flavor combination, and we all thought that BLT’s fries were excellent!
I ordered the BLT Burger topped with aged cheddar and double-smoked bacon.
It was delicious!
It is definitely a contender for best burger in New York (although I’m guessing this is a contest that will never really end!)
After we were done with lunch, we made sure to get a better look at the wall drawings before we left.
You can find more information on BLT Bar & Grill here.
And be sure to tell me where to find your favorite New York City burger!
