After a breakfast filled with delicious French pastries at Hofsas House, my mom and I drove the short distance to Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, a state park in Carmel.
Point Lobos has been referred to as “the greatest meeting of land and sea in the world,” and the “crown jewel” of the California state park system. That is quite the reputation to meet.
We drove into the park and made our way through the tree-filled, winding roads.
We parked our car and headed to the water. Point Lobos offers everything – great diving spots, hiking, picnic areas, and vistas. The coastline is indescribably beautiful.
The rock formations at Point Lobos are unlike anything I have ever seen.
Mom has strong selfie game, doesn’t she?!
Point Lobos is simply breathtaking, and we had the best day exploring the park!
