A few Saturdays ago, I woke up to a perfect fall day. It was too beautiful to stay inside, so I headed down to Union Square Park to visit its famous Greenmarket.
The Greenmarket is open all year, and features farm-fresh produce, gorgeous flowers, and gourmet food. It’s essentially a farmers’ market for us city folk!
The produce looked absolutely delicious!
Although I’m not sure if the vegetables were organic or ornery?
Regardless, the colors were beautiful! I wanted to buy everything!
Clearly I wasn’t the only one who wanted to buy everything!
In honor of fall, there were pumpkins and other seasonal treats everywhere!
One of my friends got this photo of me! This is what blogging looks like in action. Glamorous, isn’t it?!
There were also gorgeous flowers and plants. I kept thinking how much Sara would love it here!
There were even flowers in the salad!
I loved the amount of homemade treats… which were apparently ALL AMAZING!
You know the honey’s good when the bees love it!
Still not convinced you should visit Union Square’s Greenmarket? I have three words for you:
The Greenmarket is open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays year round from 8am to 6pm. You can find more information here.
And starting on November 20th, it will become a holiday market! I am definitely going back to celebrate Christmastime!
