A Day at the Beverly Hilton

Every now and then, a girl needs a day of pampering, doesn’t she?! To get my fix, I spent this past Saturday at the iconic Beverly Hilton Hotel. I started off my day with lunch at Circa 55, the hotel’s main restaurant situated right next to the pool.

I was greeted with freshly baked rosemary bread immediately upon taking my seat.

For an appetizer, I was told that I had to try the crab cake with celery root apple slaw and whole grain mustard aioli. It did not disappoint and was a perfect way to begin the meal!

My dining companion chose the cobb salad with iceberg lettuce, watercress, turkey bacon, egg, grilled chicken, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, and roasted baby beets. It was one gorgeous salad!

Just look at all that turkey bacon!

I ordered the fish tacos with mahi mahi, slaw, pico de gallo, avocado, and smoked pasilla salsa wrapped in corn tortillas. They were done perfectly!

For dessert we shared the profiteroles, which are served with warm chocolate sauce to drizzle on top. They were SO good!

After lunch I took a seat by the pool to get a little sun before my spa treatment.

Like an excited little kid, I checked my watch every few minutes and counted down the time until my spa treatment. 3:00 p.m. finally arrived and I headed over to the hotel’s Aqua Star BABOR Beauty Spa.

I slipped into the biggest and comfiest bathrobe I’ve ever seen and took a seat in the spa lounge.

I received the Red Carpet Ready Facial, which is an 80 minute luxurious spa treatment. It begins with a heated stone aromatherapy treatment on the back, and is followed by a facial. The facial features BABOR Beauty Fluids, which are penetrated into the skin with the use of micro current technology. I can’t stress enough how much I enjoyed the facial, and my skin looked refreshed and glowing at the end of the treatment. The 80 minutes flew by, and I was so sad when it was over!

The specialist put a mask over my face during the final part of the facial. When my treatment was over, she told me to take a look at the mask before I left the room. I had to snap a quick picture to share with you…

I hope it didn’t frighten you too much!

If you ever need to get away, the Beverly Hilton is the perfect place to go for some R&R.
