This morning my sister and I got brunch at Napa Valley Grille, a cute and charming restaurant located in the heart of Westwood. I had driven past this place countless times, each time reminding myself that I had to try it.
It was a perfect day outside, so we chose to sit on the outdoor back patio. With views looking out onto the street, it is perfect for enjoying the weather and people watching.
We were served coffee cake immediately upon taking our seat. We gobbled it up in less than a minute (don’t judge!) and ordered seconds. I could have happily had the coffee cake as my entire meal, it was that good.
For an appetizer, we started with the Mission Figs and Prosciutto with burrata cheese, aged balsamic, extra virgin olive oil and grey salt. It was beautifully presented and so tasty.
For our main course we shared The Larry Burger, with seasoned fresh ground turkey, smoked cheddar, a house made milk bun, and sweet potato fries. It was perfectly cooked and delicious.
The sweet potato fries weren’t too shabby either!
Our last dish was the Chopped Kale Salad, with quinoa, almonds, parmesan, and raisins tossed in a lemon vinaigrette. I am typically not a huge kale fan, but I absolutely loved this salad!
Napa Valley Grille is a perfect brunch spot and I’m so glad that I finally tried it! My only regret is not asking for some of that coffee cake to take home…
Happy Sunday everyone!
