Perch

Last Sunday, the girls and I got brunch at Perch, a rooftop restaurant and lounge in downtown Los Angeles. I had heard nothing but great things about the place and couldn’t wait to try it!

After being seated outside, we immediately got down to business and ordered a pitcher of sangria. Be careful, it tastes like juice!

For appetizers, we started with the Baked Brie, which is served with creamy whole grain mustard aioli and apple-fennel slaw. It was delicious!

For her meal, Emmie ordered two eggs with sausage and potatoes. Simple but delicious!

Taylor ordered the Huevos Rancheros, which is two eggs over easy and served with corn tortillas, black beans, ranchero cheese, avocado and spicy tomato sauce. I snuck a bite and loved it.

I was the only one who ordered lunch and chose the Perch Burger, which is aged ground beef, shallots, lettuce, gruyere cheese, garlic aioli and a fried egg inside a brioche bun. The burger was juicy and the rosemary thyme frites were great too!

The best part about Perch is the gorgeous views of downtown Los Angeles. After our meal we walked around the patio and took it all in.
