Bru’s Wiffle – A Waffle Joint

After a long night out, there is nothing I want more the next morning than hearty comfort food. So when Jana suggested we try Bru’s Wiffle – A Waffle Joint, a chicken and waffles restaurant in Santa Monica, I enthusiastically agreed. We threw on clothes, met Ashley downstairs, and headed for brunch.

I think chicken and waffles is the most genius food pairing ever. I tried it for the first time fairly recently and quickly became a huge fan!

Both Ashley and Jana ordered the Eggs Benedict with crispy chicken. Jana opted for salad, while Ashley stuck with potatoes. It looked delicious and they both really enjoyed it!

I ordered the Dwight’s Special, which was a belgian waffle topped with two pieces of boneless, skinless crispy chicken. It was very tasty and came with 4 dipping

Even though we were so stuffed after our meals, we couldn’t leave Bru’s without ordering a dessert waffle. We decided to try the Chocolate Waffle Party, which was a chocolate belgian waffle stuffed with housemade butter cream and topped with Oreo cookies, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. It was choco-riffic!

Definitely a party full of flavors.

On our way out the napkin doodles caught our eye.

Bru’s Wiffle – A Waffle Joint was such a delight. Now repeat that name 10 times fast!
