Iroha Sushi of Tokyo

For Mother’s Day my Mom wanted sushi, and sushi she got! We went to one of my favorite sushi places in the Valley, Iroha Sushi of Tokyo.

What I love about Iroha is that the menu is unique, offering dishes and presentations that you won’t find at every Japanese restaurant. We sat down and ordered an absolute feast!

I started out with one of my favorites, the Baked Black Cod Roll, which is baked black cod with cucumber and brown rice.

Mom ordered some Albacore and Makarel sushi.

My sister ordered the Crunchy Roll, which is a spicy tuna roll with tempura flakes both in and on top of the roll.

My sister and I shared the Alfred Roll, which is spicy tuna mixed with mayo, scallions, red onion, and mango. It was delicious!

Mom also ordered the Spicy Scallop Roll, which is exactly what it sounds like: spicy scallops!

We also got the Hamachi Sashimi, which came wrapped in cucumber.

Another one of my favorites is the Pumpkin Roll, which is filled with asparagus tempura, fried eggplant, tomato, avocado, and mango and wrapped in crispy pumpkin.

We also ordered the Miso Cod for the table to share.

Also for the table was the Sushi Pizza 1000, which is spicy tuna and shiso leaves on top of crispy rice with a special miso paste. I’ve never seen anything like it before!

Last but definitely not least was the Spicy Tuna on Rice Cakes. The presentation is so pretty!
