A couple of weeks ago, I opened up Instagram and saw that my friend Annie had put up the most beautiful pictures of endless rows of flowers. And when I say endless, I mean endless. My first thought was “I have to go there!” When I asked Annie where she took the photographs, she absolutely raved about The Flower Fields in Carlsbad, California. And even more importantly, she agreed to meet me there this past weekend!
The Flower Fields are found at Carlsbad Ranch, where every spring 50 acres of hillside farmland blooms into vibrant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers. Trust me, you’ll want to bring your camera!
The Flower Fields are open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and the season lasts from March 1 through May 12. It’s only $11 for adult admission and parking is actually free (we’re not in Los Angeles anymore Toto!). For more information on the Flower Fields, click here.
May you have fields of flowers in your future!
