After hiking Runyon Canyon, Sara and I were in agreement about one thing: we wanted burgers! So after we drove out of the canyon, we stumbled upon Burger Lounge. We loved the food, and the fun, swanky atmosphere that made Burger Lounge feel more like a nightclub than a restaurant.
The best part about Burger Lounge is that it didn’t completely undo our workout! The restaurant uses healthy ingredients that are produced in a sustainable environment. The burgers are made out of 100% fresh American grass-fed beef, and are topped with locally sourced, organic, seasonal ingredients.
Sara ordered the restaurant’s namesake, the Lounge Burger. It features a burger topped with organic cheddar, grilled onion, crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, and homemade 1000 island dressing.
I picked The Classic, which layers organic American cheese, organic ketchup, mustard, pickles, and chopped onion on top of the burger. It was delicious!
We also ordered a side of French fries, because we worked so hard on our hike! The French fries are fresh-cut, and cooked in 100% refined peanut oil. The fries were definitely my favorite part!
Now that I know how close Burger Lounge is to Runyon Canyon, I’m planning on going hiking ALL the time!
