King’s Burgers/Got Sushi?

There is nothing I love more than sushi. I could eat it every night of the week! When I first heard that there was a great sushi place in Northridge, I couldn’t wait to try it. But when I found out that this sushi place is also a burger joint, and serves Mexican food, I was a little less excited. How could it be any good?! Oh, but it is. It’s fantastic.

King’s Burger/Got Sushi? is the type of place that you would drive right by without noticing. A true hole-in-the-wall, the decor is nothing special from either the outside or the inside.

This guy must be sad that the meal is over…

The menu offers a wide variety of food, including burgers, sandwiches, sushi, and Mexican food. It’s really got it all, but don’t let that scare you away. Below is the non-sushi menu. I know it’s hard to read the items, but I included it to give you an idea of how much this place has to offer.

The sushi menu is also really large. I love sashimi, and their specials are all very unique. King’s Burgers/Got Sushi? also serves the more traditional sushi rolls, but for this visit I stuck with the special items.

The first dish I ordered was the yellowtail jalapeno yuzu, which was great.

My next sashimi dish was the truffle tuna carpaccio arugula. You can’t go wrong with anything that has the word ‘truffle’ in it.

Tasha’s first dish was the seaweed salad, which is a great starter to any meal.

She also had the toro sushi.

Unlike Tasha and I, Ashley stuck with American food and ordered a cheeseburger, which she loved.

Since sushi and mozzarella sticks go so well together, we had to order some for the table.

I have to warn you, the sushi at King’s Burgers/Got Sushi? is not cheap! But the fish is fresh and the menu is unique, which in my opinion makes it worth the money. If you don’t have a lot to spend, stick with the burgers, which are a fraction of the cost.

King’s Burgers/Got Sushi? is located at 9345 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324. For information on their hours, give them a call at (818) 885-6456.
